박 일 순 Park Il Soon
박일순(1951년생 /이화여대 명예교수)은 이화여자대학교 미술대학 조소과와 대학원 순수미술과를 졸업하였다. 1986년부터 2016년까지 이화여자대학교 조형예술대학 조소과 교수로 일하였고 지금까지 열다섯 번의 개인전과 다수의 기획전에 초대되어 작품 활동을 하고 있다. 자연과 생명, 순환의 세계에 대한 작업의 기조는 재료의 물성에 대한 존중과 절제된 은유와 상징으로 자연의 본성을 환기 시키고 있다.
Il Soon Park (born 1951 / Professor Emeritus of Ewha Woman's University) graduated with a bachelor's degree in sculpture and a graduate degree in the fine arts from Ewha Woman's University. From 1986 to 2016, she worked as a professor of sculpture for the College of Art and Design at Ewha University. So far, she has held fifteen solo exhibitions and been invited to participate in numerous others. Fundamentally being about nature, life and the world of circulation, her work invokes thoughts about the essence of nature through respect for the material's properties, and moderate metaphors and symbols.
